“Do small things with great love…” St. Theresa of Calcutta
Small things…everyday small acts of kindness – a friendly smile, a sincere compliment, a warm hug. These are the things that bless our lives and fill us with hope and encouragement. These small things are glimpses into the love of neighbor that God calls us to perfect in this life.
God is calling…and calling…and calling! For several years, we’ve heard the call ~ The plea of anxious parents who have no options for childcare as they seek employment; The struggling Kindergarten student that would have thrived with a year of Pre-Kindergarten experience had he been afforded the opportunity; The gentle, but persistent call to “Do the small things.”
As early childhood educators since 2007, we’ve seen the need firsthand. Parents and caregivers are frequently contacting us with the need for safe, affordable, quality childcare in Gibson County – for a place their child will be loved, nurtured, and filled with the message of God’s immeasurable love.
Little Miracles is the answer to the call. As a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, Little Miracles will seek to provide highest quality, Christian, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and Childcare to all children in need of services in our community. We are dedicated to meeting the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional needs of the children and families of Gibson County and the surrounding communities. We focus on the health, growth, happiness, and overall well-being of each precious child entrusted to our care.
Let us pray that, with the support of our wonderful community, we will ensure no child goes without an early childhood education. Let us provide parents and caregivers with the confidence to seek employment knowing that their Little Miracles are thriving in their “home away from home.”
Thank you, God, for all the small things…for in these precious moments, we truly glimpse Your face.
